Save what you sell once, use it everywhere

Set up a product with its price, tax, images and description, and it is ready to drop onto a quote, an invoice, a checkout or your Store. Track inventory if you want it counted, and give it a revenue account so the books line up.

Where a product shows up

  • Quotes and invoices

Pick the product and the line item fills itself in, price and tax included.

  • Your Store and cart

List it publicly and let customers add it to the cart and pay themselves.

  • Checkouts and bundles

Attach one product or a bundle to a reusable checkout link.

Set it up once

A product record carries everything the sale needs

Price, tax, SKU, images and a formatted description live on the product, so nothing gets retyped and nothing drifts between documents. Add it to a quote and the same numbers follow it through to the invoice and the payment.

  • Images and rich text

Upload photos and write the description with formatting, so the product reads well on your Store and on anything you send a customer.

  • SKU and pricing

Give it a SKU, a price and the right tax treatment once. Every quote, invoice and checkout picks up the same numbers.

  • Active, internal or off

Active products sell everywhere. Internal Only keeps a product on your quotes and invoices but off the public Store. Inactive takes it out of circulation without losing its history.

Inventory & accounting

Counted where it matters, coded where it counts

Inventory tracking is per product, so physical stock gets counted down as it sells while services stay untouched. Give each product a SKU and a revenue account, then carry the matching item code into Sage 50 or QuickBooks — sales land in the right place instead of a catch-all.

  • Turn inventory on per productPhysical stock counts down as it sells and back up on a refund; services and anything unlimited stay untracked. Set a low-stock threshold and Chronly emails you before you run out.
  • Set the SKUOne code for the product across your catalogue, your Store and your records — unique within your company.
  • Choose the revenue accountPoint the product at the ledger account the sale belongs to instead of dropping everything into one catch-all revenue line.
  • Match it to Sage 50 or QuickBooksCarry the matching item code across to your accounting software so sales land in the right place when you export. The Sage 50 integration is on the Pro plan.

What you get

One catalogue behind every way you sell

  • On quotes and invoices

Add a product to a quote or an invoice and its price, tax and description come with it — no retyping line items.

  • Sold in your Store

List a product publicly and customers add it to the cart and check out themselves.

  • Bundled on checkouts

Group several products into one checkout, or attach a single one, and share the link as often as you like.

  • Optional inventory

Track stock on the products where the count matters, with low-stock alerts, and leave it off for everything else.

  • Revenue account mapping

Assign the ledger account per product and carry the code into Sage 50 or QuickBooks so revenue is coded correctly.

  • Images and formatting

Upload product images and write descriptions with rich text, once, for everywhere the product appears.

  • Internal-only products

Keep a product available on quotes, invoices and checkouts while hiding it from the public storefront.

  • Discountable

Discounts can be limited to specific products, so a code only applies where you intend it to.

Questions

Products in Chronly

What can I use a Chronly product for?

Anything you sell more than once. Save it once with its price, tax and description, then add it to a quote, an invoice, a checkout, or your public Store.

Do I have to track inventory?

No. Inventory tracking is optional per product. Turn it on for physical stock you want counted down as it sells, and leave it off for services or anything you never run out of. When it is on you can set a low-stock threshold and be emailed before you run out.

Can I map products to my accounting?

Yes. Each product carries a SKU and a revenue account, and can hold the matching item code for Sage 50 or QuickBooks so sales land in the right place when you export your books. The Sage 50 integration is on the Pro plan.

Can I add images and formatted descriptions?

Yes. Upload images for a product and write its description with rich text formatting, so it looks right on your Store and on the documents you send customers.

Can I stop selling a product without deleting it?

Yes, and you have more than one way to do it:

  • Internal Only hides it from your public Store while keeping it selectable on quotes, invoices and checkouts.
  • Inactive takes it out of the Store and the pickers entirely.
  • Either way the product is not deleted, so past documents keep their history.
Can I sell several products together?

Yes. Group products into a bundle on a checkout, with an optional bundle discount, or let customers add them individually to the cart in your Store.
