Why we built Chronly
Three subscriptions, one business
We ran a small business, and running it took three separate subscriptions: one app to send quotes and invoices, one to track mileage, one to manage the jobs. Nothing talked to anything else, so the same customer details got typed in over and over.
Every one of them felt clunky or half-finished, and the ones that did not were priced for a company ten times our size. None of them felt built for a business like ours.
So we built one app that does the whole run: quote, approve, job, invoice, payment, expense. We use it to run our own business, which is why it keeps getting better.

How we got here
A year of real use before we sold it
2025
Soft launch, in-house
We ran our own businesses on Chronly for a full year before it opened to the public, alongside a handful of invite-only users who helped us test it and shape the features. Every rough edge got found the honest way, on real invoices with real customers waiting.
2026
Public launch
Chronly opened to Canadian businesses, with a free plan that has real features in it rather than a countdown to a sales call.

A smaller company, on purpose
Most business software is owned by a very large company somewhere else. A lot of it was written years ago and is now quietly collected from rather than improved. We are the other thing.
Canadian by design
Built in British Columbia for the way business actually works here: Canadian taxes, Canadian payment rails, prices in Canadian dollars. Not an American product with a maple leaf bolted on the side.
Support from the people who built it
Local support, not an outsourced call centre and not a chatbot pretending to be one. When you email, someone who knows the code reads it and can actually fix it.

Not a finished product held together with bug fixes. We develop Chronly continuously, driven by what our own business needs and what our users ask for.

The free plan is genuinely free and genuinely useful. Paid plans start at $9.99 CAD a month and add lower card rates, more users and more of the platform. No enterprise procurement budget required.
Our AI policy
People-first, not AI-first
Plenty of apps are now AI-first, or AI-everything. We are not doing that. Chronly has to be software a person can open for the first time and simply use: clean screens, obvious buttons, no training course.
Before any AI feature ships here, it has to answer four questions.

And it is a toggle you control
AI stays an optional add-on, on every plan, subscribed or not. Switch it on if it helps you, leave it off if it does not, and nothing else about Chronly changes. When it is on, the add-on cost is there to cover what the AI providers charge us per request, not to pad a subscription.

Who is behind it
Twenty years of building things that stay up
Chronly comes from a team that has spent more than two decades in software and creative work: designing, building, shipping and, just as importantly, keeping things running afterwards.
The architecture, the servers, the database, the security and the code are understood by the people who own them. Chronly was not prompted into existence on a no-code platform and handed over with fingers crossed. When something breaks, there is a person here who knows exactly why.

So far, every piece of feedback a customer has sent us has been built. That gets harder as we grow, and we intend to keep it true for as long as we possibly can.

Before you sign up
Is Chronly Canadian software?
Yes. Chronly is owned and operated by Chronly Digital Solutions Inc., a Canadian company created in British Columbia. It is built here, priced in Canadian dollars and supported by people in Canada.
What does Chronly replace?
The separate subscriptions most small businesses stack up for quoting, invoicing, job management, scheduling, online checkouts and payments. It connects to accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks and Wave rather than replacing your accountant's tools.
Is the free plan really free?
Yes, and there is no credit card and no expiry. It includes all core selling features, forms and reports for one user. You only pay card or bank transfer processing when a customer actually pays you.
Who answers when I need help?
We do. Support is local and handled by the people who build Chronly, not an outsourced call centre and not an AI script.
How is this different from the big platforms?
The large alternatives are mostly owned by very large companies elsewhere, and a lot of that software has stopped meaningfully changing. We are small, Canadian, actively developing, and we use Chronly to run our own business every day.
