Feature update
Add private files to a job that customers never see
Attach internal-only files to a job in Chronly — they never appear on the customer's job page or share links.
Jobs can now hold files that only your team can see. The new Private tab on a job keeps internal documents separate from everything shared with the customer.
Why it's useful
Every job already has a Documents tab and a Before & After tab that customers can see on their job share page. Not everything belongs there — internal notes, supplier invoices, floor plans, or anything else your team needs on hand but doesn't want to hand over. The Private tab solves that by keeping those files attached to the job without ever appearing on the customer's page or share links.
How to use it
- Open the job you want to add a file to.
- Go to the Private tab, next to Documents and Before & After.
- Drag a file into the upload area, or click it to select one from your device. Files are saved as private with a 25MB limit per file.
- Once uploaded, the file appears in the list with its size shown underneath. Use the eye icon to preview it or the trash icon to delete it.
A reminder sits right above the upload area: only your team can see these — they never show on the customer's job page or share links.
What this gets you
You get one place to keep everything related to a job — including the parts that aren't meant for the customer — without worrying about accidentally exposing internal files through a share link.
